Ketosis and the ketogenic diet have become extremely popular in the past few years. I put together a list of the best keto chicken recipes that are delicious and nutritious.

They work great in keto and non keto meal plans.

Additionally, the list has recipes that are great for on the go and sit down dinners.

Most importantly, each of them is high in proteins and fats but low in carbs in order to keep it on the keto side.

For those who are keto, those who want to try keto, or anyone just looking for a great chicken meal, give one of these recipes a try!

What is Ketosis?

Ketosis is a state in which your body uses fat as fuel. This is not usual because carbs are the body’s typical source of fuel.

Therefore, ketosis is the result you get if you follow a ketogenic diet.

A ketogenic diet entails eating:

*few carbs
*tons of fat
*some protein

The most important detail of the diet is fat.

Some versions of the diet encourage getting almost 90% of your daily calories from fats.

Once you eat enough fat while decreasing your carb intake, you will eventually enter ketosis where your body starts to burn stored body fat for energy.

The diet has been linked to weight loss numerous times because it can help burn body fat. However, in order to make the diet effective, the key is to keep carbs low and fats and proteins high!
